The Bend
Chattanooga’s next great experience welcomes people of all ages, origins, passions, and pursuits to a 120-acre mixed-use community, located at an iconic bend along the Tennessee River. A groundbreaking adaptive reuse project inspired by community input since 2018, the Bend reconnects people to the river, the city, and one another by design.
Formerly home to iron and steel mills, the Bend has a deep, storied history spanning an entire century. Today, its legacy as an epicenter for business continues, with added elements of vibrant community and long-term sustainability.

Westside Community Evolves
Westside Community Evolves began with a planning process led by a community advisory group of Westside residents and stakeholders. The planning team worked closely with community residents beginning in September 2020 on creating a vision for the future of the neighborhood.
The Westside Evolves plan lays out an ambitious 10+-year roadmap for equitable, sustainable, and holistic revitalization of the community and the families who live here.
